The intro to the first song, "This is the Night", totally rocks. A little bit of glam guitar starts this one out right. But then the vocals kick in. I thought Johnny Rotten was singing for this band. With this mix of rock n roll, glam rock, Sex Pistol's punk rock, Deadlines darkness ("maybe I would die to keep the blood, but I would rather die than lose the blood") and gang vocal Sunday School lyrics ("to live is Christ to die is me!, wo wo!) Silver brings us an album that has promise, but just doesn't fully deliver. Again don't get me wrong here, the guitar work and drumming is great, actually some of the best glam sounding guitar solo's I have heard in quite some time.
