Here's some loud, plodding sonic weirdness that definitely comes together to form a stewpot of various influences, not the least of which is exceptional guitar playing--sometimes in the melodic vein and other times in an acoustic flamenco flair. It shows some industrial attitude and influence and has tons of energy. "Liar" is the heaviest tune, while the instrumental "As I Look Back" features the killer guitar work and great tone. The processed vocals during "I Like Star Trek" make the humorous lyrics serve no purpose (save for reading), as they're undecipherable. It's so weird that it may not attract a mainstream crowd (duhh!), yet it shows so much creativity that people willing to try something new will enjoy the taste of Stewpot.
