This band gets the "best unsigned thrash band reviewed by me this issue" award. The tape cover is A+ Excellent. After honing their craft for around seven years, this band has finally created a killer sound. The first incarnation of this band, Rapture, was featured in a 1986 issue of Heaven's Metal (Issue #9). Since that time they've toured with Barren Cross, played at Cornerstone's New Talent Stage and changed their name, appropriately, to The Moshketeers. The first thing you'll notice about this trio is their tightness. They're together. Whenever they make time changes, drummer Rob Hidalgo, bassist Michael Parkin and guitarist/vocalist Paul Scozzafava are all in sync. The second thing you'll probably notice is the upfront, confront-you-about-the-Lord lyrics. Paul delivers these jewels Kurt Bachman style. Best tunes are the hard hitting Locked in Chains, Posers Of Deceit, Epicurus, The Myth and, for humor in truth, Grease the Duck. Shoot, all 11 songs on here kick butt.
