From West Virginia comes a three-song demo from a band called "Zoe," which is best described as typical metal. Not bad, but nothing real outstanding either. The first song, At a Glance, starts and ends with some soft guitar playing, but in between was blasting metal. The second song, Slaughtered, sounds like a song on abortin (it was too hard to understand). The third and best song, Captain of the Host, is an instrumental, showing off the talent of the band. The production of the tape was fair, except for Captain, because the level kept going up and down. Overall, a fair effort from a good band. Maybe with better production Zoe would be a great band, but on this effort it was really hard to tell. For ordering info, write: PO Box 6128, Bluefield WV 24701.
