Battle Acts consists of only one person, Carl Daniels. Let me say, this guy is talented! This is heavy metal with lots of thrash influences.
There are two instrumentals, "Ment Watch," and "Separation of Church and State." The other five songs are very thoughtful lyrically. "He claims himself to be so wise, wreaking blasphemy/Covering eyes, an abomination in God's sight/Intellectual-prophet of fools, intellectual-grotesque excuse" (Prophet of Fools).
At times, the vocals weren't understandable (a cheesy $25 mic), and as usual, the production could have been a lot better, but overall I was really impressed.
