Jebediah plays what would most likely be classified as indie rock meets brit pop. Most of the songs revolve around pop structure although some lean on the indie rock side of things with jangly guitars, catchy chorus's and emotionally touching lyrics. But then there are also a few songs that showcase more of a punk rock sound.
With this band being rather new to the states it will be interesting to see how they are accepted. The songs are good, but the vocals may slow this band down a bit. Nothing that really stood out vocally with Jebediah. My guess is they might get lost in the shuffle with all the other American bands that have a somewhat similar sound. But then again Jebediah could win some fans just due to the fact that not every song on their CD sounds the same. They definitely do a good job at mixing things up, within a few different genre's of music.
