This is EP is the Get Up Kids way of breaking everyone in for their new full length. The EP is 5 songs long and I can honestly say I liked all 5 songs, a lot. With the Get Up Kids past releases I liked a good majority of their songs, but not as much as I liked the songs on this EP. Definitely more poppy this time around, especially towards the end of the EP. The last two songs reminded me a lot of Jimmy Eat World. The first track, "One Year Later" and track three, "Forgive and Forget" are about the most typical Get Up Kids sounding songs on the whole EP. Pretty much their classic melodic emo punk. One thing that really stands out with this CD is the use of a keyboard. A keyboard is used on every single song and definitely adds to the overall pop feel of the EP. Great production, catchy choruses, you'll be singing along in no time. Definitely their best release to date. I hope the full length takes off where this EP left off.
