Flat out melodic rock. This album is pretty good. It totally rocks for the most part. But it being melodic rock, it didn't have that many memorable melodies. I really wanted to like this album a lot, considering this is my favorite style of music, but it just didn't interest me like I thought it would. Although the band is really good, the songs could use a little more catchy-ness. But all in all it's a good album by a good band.
