Yes, that's right, this new release from Steadfast Records features two cuts from your favorite hardcore band in Christendom. Or does it? Sure the name is the same, but the only member that is the same here is drummer, Jesse Smith. What we have here is a re-release of a 1995 split EP with Outcast. Who knows? Maybe this is the band's original lineup. This CD is quite a far reach from Liberate..., as the band pursues a much more straightforward hardcore / punk approach as opposed to the modern chaotic metalcore sound. Along with the two songs from this first Zao incarnation are two cuts from underground favorites, Outcast. With these two names gracing the cover of the CD, it's hard to imagine it not being a hit.
