From the Chicago area comes a pretty heavy band as heavy goes nowadays on the radio. In fact, for a D.I.Y. disc, these 6 songs carry their own weight among today's heavies. Much of the deep churnings are due to Lesle Boesen's mutated 4-stringing. Unlike many of those (un)aforementioned heavy bands above, Jimi Magrini knows well how to play the "ugly stick" & likes to show it, as in "Unlike You", where he throws in a little flash. The two "Hot remixes great for dancin" are "Slippin Through" with its major, effects-riddled vocals & the likewise effects-processed & Nudeswirl-like "I Alone", both from their demo, previously reviewed here. The packaging is decent, done on the computer, & there are lyrics. The cover is frightening!
