The Warped Tour regulars, and former Jackson Rubio recording artists, recently did twelve songs for Tooth & Nail. While their debut LP a few years ago was, frankly, terrible, the all-girl rock group shows that they are dead serious about developing their band into a viable pop/rock outfit. Their maturing songwriting and musicianship, that was apparent on the Acid Wash EP, is even stronger on this record, which is partially due to picking up a skilled drummer in Christina (formerly of Ruby Joe). While the band still has some work ahead of them, Get Real is a fun collection of Rock & Roll ditties comparable to early Element 101 — with more "umph."
